May 22-28

What we have been up to this week:

It was our first full week since school let out and believe me when I say, "we hit the ground running!"
We went to Pump it Up for a birthday party. That was super fun. The big kids of course love those kinds of places, but Rob had a ball!

Rob and Caroline...such sweet buddies!

Hanging with our cousins who are also our friends!

After the party we went swimming at our neighbors house...my children cannot get enough of the pool!

My sweet girl

I had to throw Ms. Priss in there! I could just eat her up!

We had a park day complete with a picnic lunch (Ok, sonic drinks and a $5 Hot and Ready) that counts, right?

On Friday morning, Jesse decided we should all hike a big hill close to our home. It was actually kind of fun. AND VERY HOT!

Saturday morning, Will had a soccer game. He is playing in a summer league with kids from different soccer clubs. It has been a very cool experience and we have really enjoyed watching him get better!

We also celebrated Memorial Day with Jesse's family at his Mom's Neighborhood pool. My kids love there cousins so much, so we had a wonderful time!

Caroline got a Mermaid tail for her birthday from us and Nonni and she has been obsessed with swimming since it came in the mail. I will admit, if I was not 35 and a grown woman...I would so get one of these.

Hattie is 5 months

Today sweet Hattie Baby you are 5 months. 5 months of kisses, smiles, crying, laughing, and loving you!

All about Hattie at 5 months:
You smile all the time! You love Will, Caroline, and Rob. If something gets in your way of seeing them, you crane your little neck so hard to see them...just so you can smile at them! This has deemed you the nickname, little turtle head!
You go to bed around 7:30-8:00 and you sleep to 4:30 or 5:00 am! So big! You still sleep in the Rock N play and you still love to be swaddled! You are such a good nurser but you are watching our every move at meal times. I know you can't wait to try some food!

You still love the swing and it has truly been a life saver!
I started putting you in the jumper and you really like it...for about 15 minutes!
You are still very petite and are wearing a size 1 diaper during the day(because we had a whole box left and you still fit in them) and size 2 at night.
You are sucking on your fingers and still refuse to take the bottle or a pacifier!
You are not a huge fan of the car seat still, but I think you are starting to tolerate it! This month you celebrated...

Rob's birthday, Daddy's  birthday, and school getting out for big kids.
We love you so much and still cannot believe you are ours!!!

Caroline's Dance Recital

Yesterday was Caroline's 5th dance recital! I cannot believe she has been taking dance this long! We just love Ms. McClain and her sweet studio and her sweet friends. She asked me after the recital if she could take again next year. So happy she loves to dance!

Our sweet cousin, Charlotte, danced too this year! She did so well!

My beautiful girl. I am so proud of her. She danced her little heart out.

Her sweet class. She has danced with several of these girls for many years!

Maclaine and Caroline have taken dance together for 5 years. So glad they get to spend one day a week together!

Her proud Daddy!

Sweet friends after the recital!

Nonni and her girl

Bebe had two dancers in the show!

The whole family

Caroline,
You were a shining star today! We are so proud of you and how hard you worked!
We love you!

May 15-21

What we have been up to this week:

Rob had his last day at KOTK. I was super sad, because he has had such a wonderful year and had two wonderful teachers. We were sad to see it end...but look forward to KOTK in the Fall!

My biggest boy passed all of his multiplication tables and was rewarded with an ice cream party. So proud of him and all his hard work in 3rd grade!

Sweet sister tried out her jumping toy this week. She likes it, I wouldn't say LOVE, but definitely likes it! She loves looking at the big kids, so she thought she was so cool!
My girls! I never thought I would be able to say that...so I say it often!

We had to say "see you later" to two wonderful teachers!!!

We had awards day on the last day of school! Will was awarded Mr. Manners and Caroline won the Artful Artist award! I cannot believe how much the kids have grown since the first day!

Sweet Hattie loves tummy time now because she loves looking at herself!

Will is playing with a team in the International Soccer League in Nashville and he is having a blast!

And we celebrated this handsome guy's 37th birthday! We love you Daddy!

Rob's 3rd birthday Party!

Today we had Rob's birthday party at the Monkey's Treehouse. Rob has been so excited about this day. Literally, counting it down for months! Of course, much to my dismay, he chose a Star Wars theme. We had a few of his little friends from school and his cousins. He had an absolute ball! And best of all, Darth Vader showed up!!!
Sweet Charlotte and Caroline loved coloring!

Cousins battling with light sabers!

All of Rob's buddies were there!!!
We love our birthday boy so much!

Nonni and the birthday boy!

Cam came all the way from FLORIDA to celebrate!

Darth Vader showed up and battled Darth Rob!

We had such a wonderful time celebrating our precious baby boy! We are so blessed by him!

Rob is THREE

Today this sweet bundle of LOVE is THREE!!!
I cannot believe it!
He has brought so much joy to our family in these three short years.
At times, I think he is so special to me because I wasn't sure I would ever have him. When Jesse and I had Will and Caroline so close together, he wasn't sure if he wanted any more children. Secretly, I knew I wanted at least one more. So, I just prayed. I prayed a lot. I prayed that if the Lord wanted us to have another that he would change Jesse's heart and that he would send the baby at just the right time. God is so good and so is His timing. He did change Jesse's heart and He did send me a baby at just the right time. He sent Rob when Will was graduating Kindergarten and Caroline was going in the Fall. I was able to spoil that little guy rotten and truly enjoy every minute with him.

Rob,
You are my special third born. A treasure. You are sweet and caring and WILD as a tornado. You have one speed. FAST. You love your siblings, your pacifier, Darth Vader, and ice cream. There is not a day that goes by that I don't count myself blessed to be your Mama. I adore you from the top of your head to the tip of your toes.
Happy Birthday Baby!

May 8-13
