Today was a good day. We woke up and made breakfast as a family and just hung out for a while. We played princesses and watched cartoons and then we decided to take a picnic lunch to the park. What a beautiful day it was just enjoying each other’s company. We then came home and daddy went turkey hunting and we had quiet time. Then we woke up and ate pizza and colored eggs! So fun. But you know what that was not why today was good. Today was good because Jesus died for our sins on this day many, many years ago. I am so thankful for that sacrifice. For dying for sinners. Taking all my shame upon Him. Thank you Jesus. And while today seemed dark those thousands of years ago, we know the end of the story. We know the joy that will come on Sunday morning when He is alive!!!
Caroline picked out her clothes today…I think she is channeling Punky Brewster…but we were going to the park, so I didn’t put up a fight!
