Just hanging around...things have been super busy the past week at our house. I am finishing up the semester at work. We celebrated Will's 8th birthday at the skate center. Jesse has been flying so much. Since upgrading to Captain, his schedule has been very stinky less than desirable. We are heading to my sister's house to celebrate Thanksgiving. She is too far along to come home for Christmas and Thanksgiving. So, we are traveling to see her!!

These two are precious. They love each other so much. It makes me so happy, seeing as how she wanted him to be a girl so bad!

This sweet girl received the "Clean desk award". I love her school so much and I love her teacher too! She does such a wonderful job of celebrating small successes, as well as large ones!

I gave the kids there Christmas PJs. This is an annual tradition, but I am afraid this is one of the last years to match. I hope not! They looked so precious.

This is survival mode right here! This is how we accomplish homework most nights. Rob sits on the table, while the big two work on their homework. Never boring around here...but I am so glad!

Our Sweet Will turned 8 this weekend! So happy and yet so bittersweet! How could it have been 8 years ago that I held him as that tiny newborn. 8 years, since our house became loud and boisterous. 8 years of hugs and giggles. 8 years of chasing that little guy around. 8 years of joy.
We celebrated by having a skating party for a couple of his best buddies. He loves to skate, so he had a blast. He requested pizza and a donut cake. It was a great day and we loved every minute celebrating our "baby" boy!

18 months

Tomorrow, Baby Rob, will be 18 months old. (I had to post this early, because Will's 8th birthday is tomorrow) How in the world? Was he not just born? He is a delight. Absolutely precious. I might be biased. Nope, he is perfect. Here is what Mr. Rob is up too...

He is everywhere. He is into everything. All.The.Time. I am constantly chasing him around the house, up the stairs, down the stair, in the yard. I chase that boy everywhere!

His favorite thing ever is kicking the soccer ball. I wonder where he learned that? He idolizes Will and loves kicking the ball just like his big brother!

He has also started to give hugs. He loves hugging his sister.

He has begun to talk a little more. He can say quite a few words at this point. His favorite, as of late, is NO. I think that is because besides his name, that is the word he hears most frequently.

He is going to MDO on Mon and Wed and he has transitioned quite well! He loves his teacher Ms. Kathi and we do too! She is wonderful.

He loves to color. It is just scribbling of course, but it will keep him entertained for more than a minute...and well, that is quite the task.

He loves to eat. His favorites are raisins, cheese, and waffles. Yum yum!

We are so thankful for 18 months full of wonderful memories with this sweet boy! Can't wait to see what the next 18 bring!

Halloween 2014

The week of Halloween was Red Ribbon Week. Red Ribbon week is a fun opportunity for the children to dress up. Caroline loved it! She participated all week! Will...not so much!

Here is my little sweet one dressed up for community worker day. Se wants to be a teacher. She loves her teacher so much!

We had great Fall parties this year! So much fun!

Halloween night, Rob was sick. He had Hand Foot Mouth, so I ended up staying home with him. Will dressed up as a clown. This was a last minute decision. I kept asking him all month, what he wanted to be. He is so indecisive! He finally decided on a clown. He looked pretty awesome, if I do say so myself!

Caroline had her outfit planned months in advance! She wanted to be Elsa from Frozen. We looked everywhere for a costume. My precious Momma, made her the most beautiful Elsa dress. She looked precious!

And here is the whole gang...My sweet, sweet Lion was so unhappy. He felt so bad. He is still adorable though!
All in all, it was a great Halloween!

Travel Soccer

Will played on a Travel Soccer team this Fall called Aris. We had the best time getting to know all the boys and their family. The boys only lost two games. One in regular season and they were finalist in the Bash in the Boro. I am so proud of Will and his teammates and I cannot wait for Spring!

Backyard BBQ and Grey Ghost

A local farm near our school had a Spirit night at their farm. We had the best time...my friend, Jocelyn took amazing pictures of our family. We had a blast with all the kids and the setting was beautiful!

This weekend was the Backyard BBQ Fundraiser at Will and Caroline's Elementary school. It is their major fundraiser for the year and I was on the Silent Auction committee. We raised over $13,000 for our school. I was so proud of our comittee and the parents of the school. The only bummer of the night, is that I was working so I was unable to sneak pictures of my kiddos! Caroline and I snapped this pic before it started, she helped me set up!

Elsa came to the Backyard BBQ. Of course we had to take a picture with her!

The morning after the BBQ, we headed to the Grey Ghost. The race was held at Oaklawn plantation, where my sister was married. It was pretty cool to see the beautiful house again. Our school has a club, called Run Club and each year they run a race together. My kids were so excited to run and represent their school. Sis was a trooper, she ran the whole way!

Brother did an awesome job!!! He finished pretty quickly!

And of course, baby brother came too! It was such a fun weekend.

Sweet Girls showing off their medals!

                                                Sweet, sweet friends!

After the race, Caroline headed to Vivi's Divas and Dudes birthday...what an awesome weekend!

Where have we been?

DSCF0193

I have sat down so many times to update this little internet space of mine… and honestly, it becomes overwhelming. I think about the months that I have let go…but I am back. I am not sure I will ever be as consistent as I was because life has become BUSY!!! But none the less, I do plan on updating much more frequently.

So…HERE is what we have been up to!

Jesse- Upgraded to Captain in August and September. He was gone for about a five week period, when all was said and done. He passed and we are so grateful! He is still flying for the same company, but his schedule has become a lot less desirable. With good change comes the bad. He turned 35 in May and we celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary in September.

Amanda- I am working at Belmont a couple days a week and still teaching classes at Williamson Medical. I stay pretty busy shuffling children from ballet to soccer and other various activities.

Will- Will started 2nd grade this year and is having a great year! He loves his teacher and so do I! He is playing Rec Soccer and joined a Travel soccer team this year too. So needless to say, we spend most of Saturday and Sunday afternoons at the soccer field. He turns 8 next month and we cannot believe it. I love this guy much and I cannot believe how big he is!!!

Caroline- Caroline started 1st grade this year and is loving it! School is her thing and she loves playing with friends and learning new things. She is taking ballet and played softball in the Spring. She turned 6 in August. She is such a joy!!!

Rob- Rob is 16 months and started preschool at our church two days a week this Fall. I wish I could say he loves it…I think he does after drop off! He is talking and running and trying to keep up with his big brother and sister. We still cannot believe we have another sweet boy to love and he was the perfect addition to our family!!!

So here’s to spending more time in this little space! I have lots to update, so stay tuned!!!

Mother's Day Take 2

After church we headed to Jesse's sister's house for dessert. It was so fun. The kiddos love playing together and we loved celebrating Bebe! So thankful for this side of the family!

Today was my 7th Mother's Day as a Mother. Wow. When I look at this picture I can hardly believe that I was chosen to be the Momma of these three babies. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine life with these three...
I have truly learned so much being a mother.
Life is no longer about you. I have not taken longer than a five minute shower since their existence. I reserve curling my hair on the few and far between date nights. I wake up tired and go to sleep exhausted. I fill sippy cups and make snacks, change diapers, pick up toys, and bathe children until I think that I cannot do it again.
But I do, because I am blessed and I was given the opportunity too. And the reward...the reward is so great.
I was woken up by three smiling faces. I was served pancakes, eggs, and bacon in bed. I was given three huge hugs and kisses. I have two handmade Mother's Day cards. I am the luckiest gal alive!

This picture describes us to a T!!!!

Catch up!

Jesse took Will out for his first Turkey hunt. Will was so excited that they shot a Turkey!

Rob is starting to cruise. I cannot believe it. I am so happy that he is growing big, but I am definitely sad to watch my baby grow so fast!!! I put him in Will's shoes that he wore when he was about that age. It is so sweet to see him wear the shoes that his big brother wore six years before!

Mommy and sweet sis swinging on our tree swing. The kids spend so much time out there, I thought I needed to try it out.
My Mom bought Rob his first pair of shoes. Rob is cruising everywhere and I know that soon he will be walking all over the place...so it was time for a new pair of shoes!
