Our baby Rob is Four Months! He is now a third of a year!!!
Weight:
We went to Dr. Brooks for our 4 month check up this month...Baby Rob weighed 16 lbs 8 oz! Dr. Brooks joked and said he was slimming down, as he was now in the 75% instead of the 90%!
Medical Issues:
Sweet boy has struggled with reflux. We have continued on Zantac. We have upped his dose to 1.4 ml and we are hoping that will help him. He started having more spit up and upset tummy in the recent weeks. I am still eliminating dairy from my diet and that has made a big difference too!
Sleep:
Little man is waking more frequently now. I was told by several weeks because 4 month olds meet many milestones they often regress on sleeping! Boo. He goes down around 7:30 or 8:00 and wakes once or twice.
Clothes:
He is can barely wear 3 month clothing anymore and is in mostly 6 month! I adore dressing my little man. I have forgotten how fun blue really is!
Diet:
Exclusively Breastmilk...via nursing
He takes a bottle ok and receives one a couple of times a week. When he takes a bottle, he eats around 5 ounces! The type is a Tommee Tippee.
Nicknames:
He has a couple of new nicknames this month...in honor of our favorite team...we have been calling him Robby Top. We even sing the song to him. I also call him Monkey man all the time.
Crying:
You still don't cry very much. Sometimes at night...but very little during the day...you do hate the car!!!
Likes:
You smile all the time. I love it. You light up a room! You are a happy boy. You are starting to watch us eat...I cannot wait until you can try food yourself. You like kicking your feet. You like to take a bath. You love your siblings. It makes my heart so happy to see you laughing and smiling at them! I could just eat you up! You laugh lots now too.
Milestones:
You can almost always hold your head up now. You are discovering your feet. You are starting to roll. You do not like the car seat very much anymore...who could blame you. You are sucking your thumb at times. You flew on an airplane for the first time and you went to Disney World on your first family vacation. We are so happy you are part of our family.
