The rest of VBS week...

We had such a great week. We have had so much fun that we are exhausted! After VBS on Thursday, we swam with friends and all three of the  children were exhausted! Last night WA had family night and preschool performed a couple of songs. It was precious. What a great week. So thankful for a church that pours into children!

Rob- 2 months

 TWO MONTHS

Our baby Rob is Two Months! HOW DID THAT HAPPEN???

Weight:
Rob weighed 13 lbs 4 oz at his two month appointment. Holy cow! He was 90th percentile for weight!

Medical Issues:
Sweet boy has struggled with reflux. We have continued on Zantac. We have upped the dose to 1.2 ml twice a day and he seems to be happier on this dose. I am still eliminating dairy from my diet and this has made little Rob such a happy baby!!!

Sleep:
Little man is sleeping better. He goes to bed around 10 pm and he wakes around 3:30 am to nurse, falls right back to sleep and wakes again at 6:30. I am feeling much better now that he is more comfortable at night and he is feeling better too!

Clothes:
He is wearing all three month clothing. I love dressing him in his precious little smocked outfits and blue gingham. He makes me so happy and I love getting to see Will's clothes on him.  It is like looking at Will again for a second time and discovering how precious Rob is.

Diet:
Exclusively Breastmilk...via nursing
He takes a bottle still like a champ though, and receives one a couple of times a week. The type is a Tommee Tippee.

Nicknames:
New nicknames include...Monkey man (Mom's nickname), little Rob, Robbie ( not a fan), and
Boss cat (Dad's choice)

Baby Gear:
You still love you bouncy seat. You now focus on the birds on the bouncy seat and coo at them. You love to swing and can now look up at the birds that move. You have laid in your crib lots and looked at your mobile. You love it and you smile constantly at it. You have sat in the Bumbo once or twice...you are not a fan yet. You love your piano play mat and spend lots of time there because you are usually the happiest there!!!
Crying:
This is where you have improved so much in one month. At six weeks, you turned the corner and you rarely cry. You cry when you are hungry and tired, other than that you are so happy!!!

Likes:
You love your Wubbanub pacie. You love to be talked to and to try to talk to others! You love to smile and I love seeing that smile. You are starting to notice your hands and you like to suck on them. You love your siblings!!! I mean, love focusing on and smiling and cooing at them! You like music and turn your head to the direction that it is playing. You love taking a bath and smile the whole time!

Milestones:
You smile all the time. You are bringing your hands to your face. You can control your head better. You received your two month shots. You were given Tylenol. You celebrated your 2nd holiday...
4th of July. You hate tummy time.
Rob,
You are amazing. You hold my heart in your hands. I am so filled with love for you and I fall deeper each day. You make every day better and I am so incredibly thankful for you!!!

Rainy Fourth of July

Today was the Fourth of July...one of my favorite holidays. I love spending time outside with friends and family, cooking out, and watching fireworks. We woke up to rain and it rained all day long! We had made plans to go swimming, so we of course had to scrap those. We decided to go over to Jesse's sisters house for a BBQ indoors. We still had so much fun celebrating our great country!!!
