ONE MONTH
Our baby Rob is One Month! HOW DID THAT HAPPEN???
Weight:
Rob weighed 7 lbs 15 oz at his two week appointment. He had to go back at three weeks and he was 9 lbs 6 oz! Whoa! He is a big boy!
Medical Issues:
Sweet boy has struggled with reflux. We started out with a modification to my diet, by eliminating dairy. That has been helpful, but the Dr. has also given us Zantac and we are hoping that will help! He does not actually vomit, Dr. Brooks called it "silent reflux", but it has been miserable for the little guy nonetheless!
Sleep:
Ha...this should be titled Lack of Sleep! Little man wakes every two- three hours and until we received the Zantac and I eliminated dairy, he wasn't just waking...he was screaming! We are seeing improvement and he sleeps a little bit more often. I don't mind though...he is just too precious to get mad at!
Clothes:
Mostly Newborn. Some of Will's three month sleepers that have been washed many times fit too! He wears a size Newborn diaper, but they are getting super snug! Momma is just trying to make sure we use them all up!
Diet:
Exclusively Breastmilk
He took his first bottle at almost three weeks and he receives a bottle about once every other day! He takes it like a champ! The type is a Tommee Tippee.
Nicknames:
You have lots...we call you Rob, as your official nickname. Dad calls you Bobby Alison, Sissy calls you Robbie, and Will calls you Bobert. I call you Baby boy.
Baby Gear:
You love your bouncy seat. It vibrates and Nonnie calls it your trampoline! You kind of like the swing. You are not totally impressed with it though. You sleep in your Rock and Play and you really seem to like it!
Crying:
You do your fair share. You have tummy trouble though and I try to blame it on that. You don't really cry loud, so that is the only saving grace!!!
Likes:
You love your Wubbanub pacie. You have a teddy bear and a frog. You like to be held. What baby doesn't, and Mommy is happy to hold you! You love to be talked too and you love your siblings!
Milestones:
You are beginning to track objects. You still have your Moro reflex. You are starting to bobble your little head. You are the King of Tooting and Burping!
YOU HAVE STOLEN OUR HEARTS. You have become such a part of our life in four short weeks. We can not imagine life without you. You were a part, we never knew was missing and we are so thankful for you!
