Insta-lately

Will loves Art class. He says it is his favorite, besides Math. He drew his own rendition of Starry Night. I think it is pretty good and he was so proud of himself.  

I took these one day while waiting on Will in the car rider line...Caroline had just about had enough! 

Caroline loves her big brother. She wants to be just like him. I caught him reading to her one morning before school. Love.

A little surprise Walmart trip... 

We are starting to work on the nursery and Jesse is painting the stripes one more time!!! 

Our video monitor came in...I am in love. I cannot believe I did not have one of these with my other two!

Big Brother/Big Sister class…

Saturday we took the kids to the Big Brother/Big Sister class at Williamson Medical Center. My sweet friend, Beverly, taught the class so that I could be the Mommy! Jesse came too. They had so much fun. They are so excited about their baby coming and I cannot wait to see them love the baby like they love each other. Before I had Caroline I prayed that Will would love his sibling. When I found out it was a girl, I was afraid that because he was a boy and she was a girl, that they would not be close. Thankfully, the Lord answered my prayer and they are so close. I pray that both fall in love with this little baby. Here are a couple of pictures from the class.

 

Our week so far...

Saturday started out with Will waking up complaining of stomach pain. I really thought nothing of it. We had a yummy breakfast and then headed to the big sister/ big brother class. The kids had a blast and they were so precious trying to diaper and swaddle their fake baby! After the class, we headed to Will's friends birthday party. He had a blast but at the end of the party my little guys was sick! This momma was freaking out. Jesse and I took him to urgent care. There they decided he need to have a work up for an appendicitis. So, we headed to Vandy Children's. Thankfully, six hours later we are headed home and it was just a virus! So thankful!!!

36 weeks

Total weight gain/loss: NOT TELLING!!!

Maternity clothes? Yep…

Stretch marks? Not yet and hopefully, never!

Sleep:Getting up lots at night! Sleeping good though.

Best moment this week: we are taking Will and Caroline to the Big Brother Big Sister class!!!

Movement: I feel the baby all the time now. So sweet!

Food cravings: ICE CREAM! Homemade Strawberry ice cream.

Anything making you queasy or sick: Not queasy at all.

Have you started to show yet: YES. I am huge!!!

Gender prediction: Our Baby is a SURPRISE!!!

Belly Button in or out? Out! Yikes!

Wedding rings on or off? On!

Happy or Moody most of the time: Pretty happy, getting slightly uncomfortable!

Milestones: Almost full term!!! So happy and excited to meet our little baby soon!

Caroline's Pre K Field Trip

Today, Caroline and I went to the cutest little sheep and goat farm. Caroline loves animals! They are her favorite things, so of course she jumped at the opportunity to hold a baby lamb. She was so proud! I loved spending some one on one time with my big girl!

Library fun

Today Caroline and I headed to the library to see Ariel from the Little Mermaid. We met our cousin, Callie, and a friend, Gideon, from school. They had such a fun time and Ariel was great. Can you believe Ariel had a baby 4 weeks ago???? What???? After Ariel, we stayed for creative movement and went to eat lunch at McDonalds. What a fun day!!!

Total weight gain/loss: A lot!!!

Maternity clothes? Yep…

Stretch marks? Not yet and hopefully, never!

Sleep: Heartburn is really bad at night, so sleeping is a little difficult!

Best moment this week: Knowing I am two weeks away from Full term! Chances of having a NICU baby decreasing!

Movement: This is a very squirmy worm!

Food cravings: Appetite has decreased a little bit because my belly is huge and there is little room in my belly now!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Nothing!

Have you started to show yet: YES. I am HUGE!

Gender prediction: Our Baby is a SURPRISE!!!

Belly Button in or out? Popped for sure!

Wedding rings on or off? On!

Happy or Moody most of the time: Happy because Spring is on its way!

Milestones: The nursery is almost complete!

 

Kindergarten Sneak peek

Today Caroline and I went to Kindergarten Sneak peek at BES. She has been so excited. We met the teachers, ride the school bus, and are a snack from the cafeteria. She felt like such a big girl!

 

Caroline’s Spring Program

Today was Caroline’s last Spring program at KOTK. She was a doll. She is quite the performer…I have no clue where she gets it! It was a summer theme and they sung a song about the swimming pool. It was adorable. They also sang sweet songs about Jesus. I am so thankful that KOTK has been so biblically based and the teachers have done such a wonderful job speaking truth and love into Caroline. We are going to miss them terribly next year and I am going to miss watching that little girl perform!

Adventure Science Museum

Tonight Nonnie and I took Will and Caroline to the Adventure Science Museum. Her bank sponsored a free night and we took advantage of it! It was so fun! They loved playing there. I wish we could have spent more time there, but it was a school night.

Sleep:Sleeping good, just feel really big when I climb into bed!
Best moment this week: Hearing the baby's heartbeat on the doppler at my appointment.
Movement: I feel the baby all the time now. So sweet!
Food cravings: Deviled eggs
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not queasy at all.
Have you started to show yet: I feel really big and I am carrying so high!
