Because we were at the beach last week, Caroline missed the first day of Pre K. Today was her first day! She was so excited to go to school. She has been dropping her brother her brother off for weeks, so when I told her it was finally her turn…she was so happy! She looked so big carrying her backpack
After we dropped sister off, we went out to lunch to celebrate our 8th Anniversary! Wow, 8 years! Love you Jesse!
Soccer has officially started. Will is playing at WCSA again so he is pretty pumped. Jesse is his coach along with a friend from church, so Will has a couple of friends on his team this season. Will is playing up this year in Under 7, so I was anxious to see how the first game would go. Well, besides the torrential downpour…the game went wonderful. Will scored 4 goals!!! He played so well and despite the age difference, he was aggressive. This is a change because normally, Will is not super aggressive. His team is navy and white this year and his team name is the Tiger Sharks! They love to chant “Go Tiger Sharks” and so does this Momma! I am so enjoying soccer this season because the older they are the more competitive the games become. They even have referees! Here are a couple of pictures from the first game…pardon the quality. Day four was spent in the sun. This was Labor Day. We enjoyed the beach and then made steak and salmon! Yummy!

It rained almost all day on day 5…the boys and girls split up. The boys went to see a movie and the girls went to Destin to hit up the outlet mall!

When we got back to the house we made homemade pizzas and played Deal or No Deal and Michael Jackson Just Dance on the Wii! So fun!
Rachel and John left the next morning. We played on the beach until about 2:00 and then we headed home. Good bye Seaside! Hope to see you next year!!!
We woke up Sunday morning and went for a bike ride all over Seaside and Watercolor. Then we headed to the beach and spent most of the day hanging out. The water was nice again today, so the children were able to swim and play. This was Uncle Jon’s last day because of work, so we decided to take pictures on the beach that night. Here are just a few of the pictures. Some of them turned out great!

The Stovalls arrived on Friday night, so when we all woke up on Saturday the fun began! We started the day out by going to Watercolor’s pool, we love swimming at this pool and it had a soccer field right by it, so Jesse and Will were super happy. After lunch we headed to the beach. The water was lots prettier today, so that equaled lots of playing in the water, catching sea creatures, and making sand castles. We played so long at the beach we decided to order pizza so we could stay out longer! It was a great day. Lots of fun!

We left for Seaside Thursday after Will got out of school. It was a snap decision…we had planned to leave on Friday, but Jesse wanted to be in Florida watching the UT game rather than driving and listening to it on the radio. I joked and told him that he valued UT football more than Will’s education! We arrived at the beach house around midnight and headed to bed, so that we would be ready to enjoy the sun on Friday!
We woke up and took our time getting to the beach. We went grocery shopping and swam in our pool. The beach was so rough that day. It was a double red flag. I have actually never seen it so rough. We were not allowed in the water but played right at the shore making sand castles and playing soccer. We did not let that stop us from having fun!

After the day at the beach, we showered and headed down to Great Southern for Happy hour and oysters…or some of us did!
We ate dinner and then headed back to the beach house to watch the Vols win their first game! Woo Hoo! GBO!!!
