Caroline announced in May that she would like to have a Princess party for her birthday. I started immediately looking on Pinterest for ideas for her party. Boy, did I find a ton!!! I love Pinterest. Here are some photos from her party inspired by Pinterest!
Good Party favors are a must! I found these baskets (minus the tulle) on sale last Easter for .20. What a steal. I snagged them thinking I would use them for Caroline’s preschool class at Easter…thankful I saved these babies! They were the perfect basket for my party favors! I added the tulle to make it coordinate with the colors of the Princess dresses. I added rick rack for embellishments and there you have it a basket perfect for a Princess!
I attached a princess sticker on top with curling ribbon…just in case you couldn’t tell which princess went with a the basket!
Inside the princess basket, I made a party favor bag…that contained wands, rings, a princess necklace and bracelet, nail polish, lip gloss, and candy.
I found these napkins on sale for 1.25 for 50 at Hobby Lobby! Yes, I will take that! I got the “silver” utensils at Dollar Tree for 1.00! Woo hoo, what a steal! I found these adorable glasses at the Dollar Tree too and I added the flower embellishment! Talk about cheap! The letter above the place setting was a craft letter that I spray painted and glittered!
This is one of my faves! I made these using a whiffle ball and silk flowers! So fun. I then put them on a candle stick holder! Perfect center piece!!
My sister got married a couple of years ago in an outdoor ceremony…my mom saved ALL the tulle! So we repurposed it and there you have a perfect princess ceiling!
This was the food area. We had Cinderella Chicken Salad Sandwiches, Jasmine’s Jelly Sandwiches, Princess Pretzel Wands, Snow White Strawberry Salad, and Princess Pasta Salad.
My Mom helped by making card stock signs for each type of food.
Here is the cake…You would never know that less than 12 hours ago it looked like this….
Note to self…NEVER order a cake from Target!!!
I hung up Caroline’s dresses in the hallway.
The little girls lunched in the dining room…Beautiful!
My Mom made this banner. She also helped me make the paper flowers. They added so much to the tulle and made it look so sweet!
We decorated the outside and made a back drop for pics!
The invitation I ordered from Etsy!
So there you have it! The Pinterest Princess Party!
