HAPPY
LEAP
YEAR
DAY!!!
We have been at my Mom’s house all afternoon waiting out these storm and tornado watches! So we decided to get a little crafty. I went to a baby shower Sunday afternoon and a friend had made an adorable wreath for the door. She did her wreath for the mother to take home and put in the nursery. She gave me a quick tutorial and I have wanted to make one all week. So, my mom has tons of remnant fabric that she gave me. Here is the finished product!!! So easy!!!
Things you need:
Foam Ring ( I used the medium ring from Hobby Lobby and I got it for 40 % off, so it ended up being about $3.00.
Fabric- You can use pretty much any type or color. I used old remnants that my mom had lying around
Good pair of Sharp scissors (the good thing is you don’t have to be precise.
Small piece of craft wire to hang the wreath after you are finished.
A good friend or Mom to help you cut it!!!
You cut the fabric into 2 inch strips, long enough that you can tie it in a knot around a foam wreath. After you tie it you will need to clip the edges shorter so that they will stand up and look pretty. Get creative and use lots of bright color fabrics. I think I will leave this up all Spring!
