Will is going to play Hockey! Well, not really play Hockey, but learn about Hockey. The Predators put on a hockey clinic for young children for FREE. They even get a hockey stick and a jersey! So cool. Yesterday we had to go get fitted for the equipment. Will was a little hesitant at first but then he saw his cousin, Jack, and he was instantly excited. I cannot wait to watch these little guys on the ice!!

Well, after our busy night at the Circus on Thursday…we decided to lay low on Friday!
Saturday we had Will’s game that morning and then we bummed around all afternoon. We decided to take the kids out to P.F. Changs for their first Chinese food experience using a gift card we got for Christmas, but the wait was 70 minutes. I do not think so!!! So, we decided to try out the new Panda Express! It was pretty yummy and the kids loved their first Chinese experience. This worked out in the parent’s favor…we get to go on a date night and enjoy that yummy gift card!!
Sunday, it was off to church and then to Colby’s birthday party! I only got one picture of Caroline at the party but Will and her both had a blast. Once again the weekend flew by!!!
Tonight we took the children to the Circus with the Vadens. We had great seats and after we braved the rain and parking situation, we started to have fun. The kids loved it and we did too. We loved the clowns, the tigers, and the $11.00 snowcones! It truly was a great show! Thanks Mom and Dad for treating us to the circus!!!
We got to the Arena and it was raining cats and dogs. Jesse let me and the children out and then went to park the car. He got lost and ended up having to run to a couple of blocks to get to the arena. Meanwhile, the usher seated me in the wrong section with the kids, so we were wondering where in the world Jesse and Emily and Ned were!!! Finally we figured it out and the show started and it was all worth it!

Tuesday after I picked up the children after school and Mom and I headed to the park! What a beautiful sunny afternoon!!! It sure didn’t feel like January!
Afterwards, we headed to the car wash! This is one of the kids favorite things to do…I guess we don’t get out much!
This weekend, like always, flew by. We kicked off the weekend by going to the BGA Basketball game with friends. My sister was in town all last week and we so enjoyed spending time with her. I cannot believe I do not have a single picture!!! Wow, I miss her. She went to the game with us and we met Jesse’s best friend from high school, Jackson and his adorably pregnant wife, Anna. They are expecting their first child in May and we love spending time with them and they like our kids, so that is a bonus.
Caroline has decided she loves basketball games…there is lots of cheap food and candy there!

Saturday, I went to a college sorority reunion. It was so fun. We were only together for 12 hours but we did manage to catch up on pretty much every aspect of life! We had one engagement, and three babies to celebrate! So fun!!! Here are two of the momma’s. One couldn’t make it. Thanks to my sweet, sweet husband I was able to relax and spend time with some of my favorite girls!
Today was Caroline’s first trip to the dentist and she did so great. I was a little bit worried because when I told her last night that she would be going to the dentist today…she freaked out. Crying and saying, “No Momma, not me…take Will.” Hilarious! I did have to lay in the chair with her but she tolerated the cleaning very well. I was very proud of her and she had NO cavities! Wow. I am amazed. I guess chasing her around the house twice a day with a toothbrush paid off! I love you big girl and I am so proud of you!
Today after we dropped the kids off at MDO, my sister, mom, and I headed to visit my cousin and her precious baby Judson. I cannot believe my baby cousin is a Momma! And a great one too! She looks so natural and you can tell that she is in love with her little man. US TOO!!! I love newborns. They are so perfect and squeezable! Here is his…isn’t he adorable!
This weekend was so fun but it flew by! I cannot believe we are finished with the second week of January!!! This year is already flying by!!!
Friday night we went to a Prom Flashback Party at a sweet friends house. We became friends almost 7 years ago when we first started going to TSC. This couple always has the greatest parties and there is usually a costume involved! We went to the Prom dressed as the 60’s! I actually wore a dress of my mothers,( she wanted me to point out that she did not wear it in the 60’s!!!) and we had such a fun time! We had dinner and lots of dancing! There was even a disco ball!!
Saturday, one of my dearest friends (we met in 3rd grade) had her third precious baby boy!!! Noah Wesley! He is beautiful and has the prettiest head of hair I have ever seen!!! Congrats Jess and Sean!!!
Saturday night we had dinner with sweet friends to watch Tebow play. The game was not that interesting but we had a blast!!!
Sunday, I worked and the kids went to church with Jesse and we crashed at home!!!
Today after I picked the kids up from MDO it started spitting snow. The kids were freaking out and asking if they could go out and play in it. Of course it was just spitting snow, but they were so excited. So we bundled up and headed out for 10 minutes. Yes, 10 minutes…it was freezing and they both were begging to come back in and have hot chocolate. It is the little things though, Caroline shouted as all came back in the house… “This is the best day ever!” Sweet thing.
I call my children monkeys all the time. It is a term of endearment, but it is quite fitting. They are always running around, swinging on my furniture, and picking at each other. Yep, they are little monkeys. So, they had practiced acting like little monkeys lots at home, when they were invited to their first birthday party at Monkey Joe*s. They were experts! They had so much fun and we loved celebrating with our cousin Davis and our friend Adah! Here are my little monkeys enjoying what they do best…acting crazy!!!
