S-N-O-W

It has snowed so many times that I am running out of options to title my snow days on the Blog. That is just plain sad. This came as no surprise...we awoke to once again a winter wonderland. As many snows as we have had this winter, it is making me wonder if I should have considered Education as my major in college! This time the snow was lighter and more wet, so we didn't really get to play in it as much.
Thank goodness we have already received the much anticipated call that school is on in the morning!!! Yippee! We have missed tons of school this month and well, we don't make it up or get our money back, so this Momma is pumped that we go tomorrow! We had a super low key day but that was pretty nice!

As I was making the picture of my adorable baby boy, my "prankster" husband pounded me in the face with a snow ball, this resulted in my going in to wipe the snow off the camera and me.

Caroline loves eating snow. Jesse would make her a snowball and instead of throwing it...she ate it. Crazy girl.

Yes, there he is. The "Redneck Prankster". He is definitely sporting pajama pants out in this snow. Good thing we live out in the country or our neighbors would think we were pretty strange! Except I just outed him on my Blog, so like now about 14 additional people have seen him:)

Happy Snow Day. I hope that is the last time I say that this Winter...something tells me that it won't be the last time though:)

Thankfully yesterday was the weatherman missed the snow forecast (I know, I heard we are supposed to get some tonight) and we were able to be outside in the great outdoors. We are working on a little playground beautification project at the Pilkinton home...I don't want to give away too much before I am able to show you with pictures. Call me old...Call me a kill joy....Call me a desperate Momma...I am serious, I can't handle another snow day! We are running out of indoor play options. Please weatherman be wrong about Monday!

Yesterday was Donuts with Dad at Will and Caroline's MDO. This the first year that Jesse has been home to go, so the kids were super excited. It was also Pajama Day too.

Thankful Thursday

Thankful Thursday...with these two I am so thankful for every day...
Both of my little sweeties have come home from MDO feeling under the weather...and when I had just said, "Wow, we have really avoided the colds all season"... that will teach me!

To cheer her up, my grandfather brought her her favorite food...tomatoes! She loves them. Can't live without them. We go through a whole container of baby tomatoes a week with this little gal! She ate the whole thing like an apple!

Couldn't complete a post without giving big brother some love!

Bribing at its best!

I was informed by my sweet husband that I went a little overboard in the bribing department concerning the recent potty training. I think he may have been correct! Yesterday, after we picked the kids up from MDO we headed to Chuck E* Cheese for a little fun. Caroline had been anticipating this and was so excited. I mean, she had worked hard to get there...so it was worth it! Her brother had a little fun too:) After CEC, we went to Chik Fil A* for a little "Kids eat Free on Tuesday" ! So, needless to say the kids were asleep by 7:15 pm.

You are such a big girl! You are 29 months. You are such a joy. You talk all the time about everything. I love hearing you talk to your brother and boss him around. You love playing make believe and your favorite toy at the moment are some plastic animals. You carry them around everywhere with you. You love to eat and you are the best eater at our house. You talk constantly about being a big girl, but you still love to cuddle. You can pray the sweetest little prayer. It is precious to listen to. I can't believe I have spent 29 months being your Mommy...I am so blessed! Way to Go Big Girl, hope you enjoyed your Pottying Treat! I love you so much CareBear!

Weekend

I had to work this weekend and Jesse was out of town. So, my parents helped me out and watched the children. I feel so blessed to have such amazing parents. I also have an amazing MIL who watches the children too. Can you see the happiness on these two faces. They are really blessed by their grandparents. Grandparents who allow little people to come mess up their neat home, who play endless games of Candy*land and watch movies when they would rather watch adult TV, and grandparents who pour goodness into their lives. Nonni, Poppy, and BeBe, we just wanted you to know that you bless us in so many ways. Thank you!

Please join me in praying for Alli today. She is 2 years old and has leukemia and is fighting for her life right now. Pray also for her mom, April, and dad, Trey. The next 48 hours are going to be a critical time. Alli is on a ventilator and has received 25 Antibiotics to try and curve the infection in her lungs. She is also on 10 other meds right now.
I went to high school with her parents.

PLEASE PRAY FOR THIS PRECIOUS BABY TODAY.

Snow

Last night we ventured out for a few minutes to play in the snow. It really looked so beautiful and the kids had been begging all day long. I had told them that if they both took a good nap, we would go outside when they woke up...so Mom had to come through on her promises! We didn't last long outside because it was freezing but we sure did have a good time! Can't wait until our Daddy gets home today and we can play all afternoon!!!

WWMD

This weekend was wonderful! It was the first Annual Wild Women Mother Daughter Weekend. I love this name because we are soooo not wild, but we did have so much fun! This little group of mothers and daughters have been friends/family for as long as I can remember. These four women have been "other" mothers to me and I am so grateful for each one of them. And the girls, well these are some of my nearest and dearest. We stayed all weekend in a fabulous cabin and shopped,strolled Gatlinburg, and just had a blast. We definitely have plans for the 2nd annual WWMD weekend! Love you girls!
