Monkeying around

Today we went to the Zoo with some buddies. It was so fun. I hadn't taken Will since he was 17 months old and Caroline had never been. They absolutely loved it...Can you say Christmas present!

Mac and Caroline- best buddies

They loved the Frog House. It was so cool.

Day @- Hollywood Studios*

So, I am now one of those ladies that I swore I would never become. You know the lady who talks about Disney* all the time, has 10 cats, and like to knit...Yep, I am her minus the knitting...and I only have one cat. I pretty much became obsessed.

IT WAS THE BEST VACATION EVER.

Okay, moving on.

Second day we headed to Hollywood Studios*, aka, Will's personal favorite. My sister and brother in law arrived Friday night and we were so excited to see them (the next morning, my crew was tired from playing at the Magic Kingdom*)! They were only going to be there until Monday morning, so we hit the ground running. When we arrived in the park we were super excited...there was hardly anyone there! Thank you Tour Guide Mike*!
Our sweet little friend that would be swimming in the pool first thing in the am! How funny is that. The pool at our hotel is open 24 hours. You heard me, 24 hours! Actually a couple of nights we might be known to be swimming at 10 pm. It is Disney...there is no bedtime!
When you swim at 10 pm, you often times look like this little lady in orange in the morning!
Or this little guy on the bus...

This was the first thing we saw as we were entering the park. What a great sign for a great day!

Ready for what the day would hold! Lots of Tower of Terror* and Rockin Rollercoaster*!!!

Hey Gene and Diane, I thought you went to Disney...not San Fran!!! He he...just kidding, okay, I am not funny!

We met two of Will's favorite people, or should I say Cars.

This is how Caroline spent most of her afternoons. She was such a great baby!!!
This is the crew that rode the Tower of Terror* seven times. Yes, Will rode it seven times! He is exactly forty inches, the mandatory height for this ride. It was his favorite. He would hop of the ride and say..."Can we do that again"?

Sometimes you just need a little rest! Yes, I know it is freaky...he sleeps with his eyes open!

Enjoying a little Toy Story Mania*. My brother- in- law was top scorer for the day!

My parents watched the kiddos that night while we headed to Downtown Disney* for our anniversary! It was so fun! Thanks Mom and Dad!!!
As you can see, we had an awesome second day!

Just having a "Bane" day

Today we just stayed at home. We had no plans, no schedule, no worries. We played a little, did a little crafting, and watched movie with popcorn. We had a "Bane" day, as I like to call it now. You see I have a friend who can't do that with her baby anymore and I am reminded of that daily. So today, I hugged little tighter, worried less about markers on the table, and enjoyed my children to honor that sweet baby's memory. Please remember to pray for my friends. If you think about it visit their blog and leave them a sweet message. Tell them what you are doing to remember their sweet little guy and be sure to check out the amazing things that they are doing.

A.J. Thanks for the super fun ideas. My kid's loved learning about the letter "A"!!!

"Scared" crow

Do you see this happy face?

My grandparents gave the kids this scarecrow last year after Halloween. He lives in our upstairs closet and they have been dying to get him out. A few days ago, I conceeded. I mean it is almost Fall...

See his permanent grin. Two days ago, I am sure he was thinking how lucky he was to be out of the closet and bring joy to these two lovely children and decorate their home.

After today... I think he has changed his mind and put in for a transfer!!
