A month or so ago, our friends the Baker's asked us to go to the Nashville Rising Concert benefiting the flood victims and are we so glad we said "yes". We had the best time and it was for such a good cause. There were tons of great artists there and even a couple of surprises. It was amazing to see the impact that the flood had on so many , but it makes me really proud to be from the "Volunteer State"!

Last night we took Will and Caroline to the movies to see Toy Story 3* as part of Jesse's Father's Day. We ran into some big friends and little friends. We had some fun, ate some popcorn, and ate our weight in Milk* Duds and M&M's*. It was such a fun night and I was really proud of Caroline for sitting all the way through her first movie.

Honoring Our Dad

Today is a special day. It is a day to celebrate our Dad. He is the best. He plays ball with us, he makes us yummy ice cream, he is the best wrestler and tackler, he gives the best hugs, oh, and he plays the guitar for us too. He is always telling us he loves us and encouraging us. He is our #1 fan. He is silly lots of the time, but gives us "loving guidance" when we need it:). He really is the greatest. Mom says we are really lucky she picked him...actually she says, we are really lucky God picked him for us! Thanks Dad for all you do. You make this house a really special place! We love you.

Happy Anniversary

Today is Baby Sister's first Anniversary! Happy Anniversary Trey and Jen! Hope you have many happy years together!!!

My friend Christy came into town on Saturday on her way to Maryland...her new home:( and we were able to have lunch. We had so much fun talking and picking out new clothes and stuff for her sweet little twins due in September. She is such a great friend and I cannot wait to meet those little gals!

That night, Jesse was out of town, so the kids and I went to the Relay for Life event in Franklin, with my parents. We were on a team with one of my cousins who was diagnosed with lymphoma in the winter. We are happy to say that he is in remission! It was such a great night to celebrate those who have beat cancer, are walking through cancer, or have lost their life or a loved one to this terrible disease. We were also there to support my grandmother, who is celebrating 6 years cancer free!!!

First Sounds Game

Tonight, we went to the Sounds game with a few friends to celebrate Mr. Jeff's 29th birthday. It was Will and Caroline's first "big" baseball game and they loved it. Mostly the loved running up and down the stands with their buddies, but I think their favorite part was running the bases after the game. Jesse is such a softy and he let the kids stay until the game was over...10:30pm...to take a quick lap around the bases. But the huge smiles and giggles made it worth it! Thanks Jeff for inviting us.
