It has begun. Yes, those are baby plants in my FORMAL dining room. The things we do for love. He has assured me there will be a payoff of lots of fresh produce. We will see:)

Little Miss Thang

Caroline had her 18 month check up today, thanks to the snow, she is closer to 19 months...but who's countin! She weighed 22 lbs (20%) and was 33 1/4 inches tall (50%).I am only documenting this for myself, so I can put it in her baby book. Yep, she is the second child...the book has lots of blanks!!! She had a great check up and it is always a sigh of relief when the DR. is over!!! She has started something pretty funny that she has picked up from older brother... she squeals "CHEESE" whenever I pick up the camera!! It is pretty cute, even if she is my own.

Yesterday, Uncle Trey was in town for his job for a big Turkey Thing at Opryland and Will and Jesse headed down there to hang out with him! Will had a absolute blast and cannot quit talking about the Turkey day and his video, and his call, and his new hat. Check out my newest little Turkey callers.

Today is a really sweet friend's special birthday! I won't tell her age, she still a spring chicken! She has become a great friend to me over the past few years and we just love her! Happy Birthday Robin! Hope it was a good one!

Nov. 27th, 2002...Boy meets Girl. Boy gives girl side arm hug in friend's garage. Girl is smitten.

Dec. 17, 2002...Boy asked Girl out for first date. Girl accepts gladly.

Oct. 10, 2003...Boy asked Girl to marry him on a mountain side. Girl says YES!!!

Sept. 11, 2004...Boy and Girl united forever.

Feb. 14, 2010...I am still really glad I am that Girl.

18 months going on 18 years...

My baby girl is 18 months today. It is surreal. I feel like it was just yesterday that the doctor shouted, "You have a girl!" I still feel that same excitement every time the Princess smiles. Wow, I am blessed.

Here are some of my favorite things about my Princess:
1. She loves her brother...scratch that, she adores her brother. The sun rises and sets to Will.
2. She is a mix between a tomboy and a girly girl. She can be found most of the times pushing cars next to her brother with her bow in her hair. You better not forget her bow...she will remind you.
3. She loves Elmo* and animals. When either one comes on TV she squeals and stops everything she is doing.
4. She loves to dance, and I mean, the girl is good. She can cut a rug.
5. She is trying to talk like crazy! I love that sweet little voice.

Tea for Two (Best Friends)

Saturday, we celebrated in style for Mom's and Karen's birthday. These ladies are somewhere in the middle of their 50's, but personally they look fab to me! Karen is my Mom's cousin. She was born the same year as Mom, one day before. So, they have celebrated almost every birthday together. They are cousins and best friends. Karen's daughter Ashley is the best. She is four months older than me and we have been so close for a long time. All of the women at the little party (besides my new friend Kay) have been very special women to me and I am blessed to have them in my life! Happy Birthday Mom and Karen!
