Tradition:
a. an inherited, established, or customary pattern of thought, action, or behavior (as a religious practice or a social custom)
When I was a little girl, we had a few Christmas traditions. Reasons that I thought I loved about this season. We always made sugar cookies and decorated them a couple of days before Christmas...we went Caroling with Church to shut-ins in the area...we went to Opryland Hotel to look at the lights...we starred in the annual Christmas pageant at Church...we opened one present on Christmas Eve... Tonight we started a new Christmas tradition. Jesse was out of town, so we were spending the evening with my parents. We decided to bake Jesus a birthday cake.

At first it started out as something fun, and it was fun. But it turned in to so much more. It really made me start to think about my Jesus.
b : a belief or story or a body of beliefs or stories relating to the past that are commonly accepted as historical though not verifiable
Jesus did come as a baby...HE the reason that we celebrated this season. Every reason...

Merry Christmas and may you be Blessed more abundantly than you already are.
Love,
The Pilkintons
