We celebrated my Grandfather's 79th birthday at my parent's house with a fish fry/picnic! It was so much fun. I am really close to my grandfather, and after losing one of my grandmother' this year, I have grown to really appreciate the time we are able to spend together. Jen and Trey were able to drive in for the occasion and Jesse's mom came too. Happy 79 th Birthday Papa and many more!!! We love you!

Sunday School Picnic

 

 

 

Tonight we had our annual Sunday School Picnic. It was held at the Lankford's house at their creek. The setting was perfect, it kept the kids entertained, the mom's could mingle and talk, while the guys kept an eye of the kiddos in the water ( I told you it was a perfect setting)! We had so much fun. Jesse was unable to catch his flight on time, so we missed him, but all in all it was a blast!

Caroline is 11 months!

Caroline is 11 months old. One month until…

*She is considered a “toddler”.

*She blows out her first candles.

*She can face forward in her car seat.

*She doesn’t get a shot every time we go to the Dr.

*We celebrate the anniversary of one of the happiest days of our life!

Thank you, Lord for these precious months so far with our baby girl. She is such a light and joy in our lives!

Thomas and “His Friends”

Last night, Jesse and I ventured to Nashville with a two year old and a four year old to see a friend.

He is big and blue, but not sad.

He is made of metal, but not cold.

He is very reliable, but not boring.

Can you guess who we saw????

Will and his cousin, Jack, loved Thomas! We had so much fun and we had lots of treats! Will had his first cotton candy and he loved it. At one point his cousin, Jack turned to Jesse and asked the cotton candy had “sugar” in it! I nearly died laughing. Jesse said, “yeah, just a little”. Jack replied, “Good, my mom says I shouldn’t have too much sugar.” It was so cute! Thanks Jack for going with us and thanks Bebe for watching Caroline!

Fun Day at the Pool and Happy B-day Aunt Kiki

Our Aunt Jen came home to visit us yesterday! We were so excited to see her! She is super fun and she loves to spoil us and play with us, so we are really pumped to see her white car pull in the drive way! We decided to all go swimming and it was super fun! We were so sad to see her go home! We love her so much!

Our other fun Aunt Kiki, celebrated her birthday that same night at Mellow Mushroom! It was super fun! Mom forgot her camera! Happy Birthday Aunt Kiki! We love you so much!

Camping Out

We have been really busy this summer just hanging out. We have had weddings, vacations, and a mini-camp out at our house. We bought a tent and Will and Jesse were so excited that we had to do a little camping in the backyard the first night we had the tent! It was super fun. We hot dogs and smores and a really great time!
