Our MOM is a slacker

Sorry, our Mom has been a huge slacker. We keep trying to get her to put cute pictures of us on here. She keeps mentioning words like, "busy", "tired", and "can't find the usb cord". We are trying to help her get her act together before all of our adoring fans quit checking our site out. We promise she will be better, and if she isn't we know how to make her have a very long night!!!

Sometimes you know certain things are going to be a certain way before they ever happen. It doesn't happen a lot, maybe only a handful of times in a lifetime. But, you just know...
I knew that when I met Jesse. I knew I loved him after about three dates. In fact, I rushed home and professed my love for him to my mother, which she countered with something about me being "crazy". I knew "it" though. I knew when he asked me to marry him on a mountain top, that I loved him with everything I had, and that he loved me back. I just knew it. I knew that getting married to Jesse was the right decision. Yes, he was in the midst of flight school (jobless) and we were young. I knew it, though. I knew that when we found out we were having Will that Jesse was going to be a wonderful Father. I just knew it. Somethings, you just know.

You are such a wonderful Father. I could not ask for more. Thank you for loving us and loving the children with all your heart. You are an amazing leader and we love you so much!! Even though, we will not be together tomorrow, you will be in our thoughts. Hope you know how special you are and what an impact you have on the three of us. Our heart is bursting with love for you.

10 months

 

The Princess is 10 months today. I am sitting her wondering how in the world this could be. These past 10 months have flown!

Baby girl here are your tricks you have learned this past month...

You pull up on everything. Furniture, stairs, your brother...

You have taken a few steps but you are still shy about the whole walking thing.

You love the dogs and cat, you wrinkle up your little nose and put on a surprise face whenever they come near.

You are quite attatched to your parents. You do not like to be far from us! We like being close to you too.

You follow your brother from room to room, you definitely are his biggest fan!

You have made our hearts grow bigger than we could have ever imagined. You put a smile on my face when you wake up, and put a smile in heart as I lay you down to sleep. You are such a gift, and we love you.

Well, it happened. After six months of stressing, worrying, planning, and praying(not by the bride and groom, by me and Mom)...they finally tied the knot! It was perfect. The Lord provided in a huge way. The venue was breath-taking, the weather, to-die-for, the girls looked great, the men were handsome, and the bride, well, I am totally biased but she just might have been the prettiest ever! All in all, it was a weekend to remember. Stay tuned for candid photos, these are a sneak peek from the photographer!

I am sure most of you remember, from a few posts back, that we planted a garden. I must admit, my sweet husband is a daydreamer. He thinks up elaborate plans and schemes. Some work, some don't. The garden...that was a "good idea"!!! We have had so much fun growing veggies. It has truly become a family affair and lots of our time is centered around our garden. This week we are finally seeing some of our "fruits" of our labor, or vegetables, if you will. And boy are they yummy!

Fishin Buddies

 

 

 

 

The other night, our friends, the Lankfords came over and we went fishin. We loaded up the trucks and grabbed our poles and headed down the road to a little family fishin hole. The boys had a blast, sitting there trying to see who could catch the biggest fish, oh, and the little boys had fun too.
