Happy Halloooooween

Have you herd? There is a new cow in town. And he is so moootiful! A week or so ago, our neighbor had a baby cow born. Will and Jesse thought it was the coolest thing. They took pictures and visited it daily for a few days. It was quite a hot topic around the Pilkinton household.
But as of yesterday, there is a new cow in town!

Happy Halloween Friends!!!

Stay tuned for School party pics and for Halloween fun!

The place to be...

Yesterday, was Franklin's Annual Pumpkinfest. Will, Caroline, and 300 thousand other children had such a fun time at the festival. Maneuvering my double stroller through the crowd was like trying to parallel park a semi, but we still had a blast. Both of the kiddos were dressed as pumpkins and looked so sweet. We had a picnic on the Square, partied in the People's Church kid zone, and snagged a baby pumpkin on the way to the car. We can't wait until next year!

Uncle Wuggie's (J.Clark's) 24th birthday was yesterday and we celebrated tonight by eating at his favorite restaurant. Jack and Will had so much fun playing and running around Pancho's. They were so wild, I thought they might kick us out.

Parties and Patriotism

Today I hosted my "1st annual" Halloween party for Will and Caroline's little playgroup friends. The kids had so much fun and so did the adults. I had put on the invitation to wear your costume if you dare...guess who's kid was sooooo unhappy about wearing his costume! I finally convinced Will that wearing his costume would be so fun and with a little help of a few chips, he decided to wear his pumpkin costume. We missed our friends who could not make it but thanks to all who came. Here are few pictures of our little Fall friends!

On Thursday, I took Caroline with me to vote (on the advice of Big Nanny_ ). I thought it was really exciting, Caroline was a little bored. Caroline was, however, very insistent that I vote for a really cool, smart chick...so...I can't tell you who we voted for! Let's put it this way...I have a really smart daughter! So, get out and vote!

Attention, those that can vote in Nolensville, be sure to vote for Brian Snyder for Alderman. He is such a nice guy with good morals!

One of our best friends...hands down!

Caroline and her best little girlfriend had their own playdate the other day! It was so fun. Lila's mom, Emily met us for lunch and we went to Precious Prints for a little girl time! We had the girl's prints made and they were so sweet. They didn't even cry! I hope this is the first playdate of many for these two girls! We love you Lila!

Weekend Update

It has been a crazy past few days so I have lots to catch up on...
Wednesday, we(the girls and Will) loaded up and traveled to Parsons, TN to see where my little cousin Jessica would be living. We had so much fun. We ate lunch at a gas station, checked out Jessica's sweet new house on the RIVER(step out her back door and right into the Tennessee River), scarfed down Parson's Famous Dairy Bar milk shakes, hit up "the store" in the town, and scored some super cheap gas on the way home! Could that day have gotten any better? She is tying the knot on November 1st, so stay tuned for that post.

The sweet girl in the picture below, AKA baby sister, just passed her PRAXIS test with flying colors. For those of you who did not major in Education, that is a really big test, that is super important. So Sis, here's to many more silly school photos!!! Congratulations.

Will is feeling much better and on Saturday afternoon he went to a local Fall Party. I had to work, but he went with my family and Jesse went too. They rode a donkey, went on a hayride, and Will had his first roasted marshmallow. They had lots of fun, I wish I could have been there! Will even got to see his sweet little friend, Lila Harrell!

Check it out, our VOLS finally won a game. Do you know how long I have been waiting to put this on Caroline? GO VOLS!

On of the best parts of the weekend was that my parents, who save everything, gave Will my sister's Fisher Price Kitchen. Don't worry, he is now cooking up a storm using his 1987 model kitchen. I looked it up on Ebay and it is considered "vintage", really folks? All kidding aside, it totally rocks, even if it is older and came with lots of fun "vintage" food. It has kept him entertained all afternoon, although Jesse is really tired of drinking Will's "coffee" and eating his "pancakes"!!! Here is a picture of our little chef!

Favorite Foto/Unfavorite Foto Friday

Check out this terrible Boo Boo! Will fell on Sunday on the side porch and scored this super yucky boo boo. It became so angry looking overnight, we had to pay the Dr a visit. We left with antibiotics and strict instructions. WHY does this always happen when Jesse is out of town???

Caroline says, "Hey big bro, get out of my bumbo!" Yep, she is so smart she can talk, and rhyme!

Take your child to work day...

Well, sort of. We took Will to see the "airplanes" at Wings of Eagles. Jesse used to be a flight instructor there so he still had a few connections. They let Will sit in the airplane and pretend to fly it. It was so cute. Caroline enjoyed it too.
She had her two month check up today and received a wonderful report! She weighed 12 1/2 pounds- 90th percentile and was in the 60th percentile for height! WOW!!!
