The Dynamic Duo
It is almost here and I am so sorry that I have neglected you all over the past few days, the stomach virus lingered a little bit longer and infected a few more family members, but I really do think we are on the mend this time... just in time for the big day! Today is really our Christmas Eve because Jesse has to work on Christmas Day, so Santa is coming to our house tonight and we couldn't be more excited! Will has been really good the past few days in anticipation of the man in red coming!
We have a had so much fun the past three days doing family Christmas with Jesse side of the family. I am going to post what pictures I have and I am hopeful getting some pics from others that took them that day. Saturday was the annual Manchester Christmas. I had to work but Jesse and the kids were able to go with Bebe's help! Sunday night was Bebe's Christmas and boy, did we have a blast! Will and Jack had so much fun playing together, they didn't want to leave. The food was yummy, the company was great, and a fun time was had by all! Last night was the Sielbeck Christmas. As always it was so much fun. Dirty Santa got down and dirty when a one week stay at the Sielbecks condo was thrown into the mix! So fun, thanks for a great night once again!
Lastly, Will participated in the "too many to count" annual Christmas Pageants at Bethesda Presbyterian Church. It was not too many years ago that I graced that same stage as an angel or even Mary for a couple of years. Have you ever read the book, "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever"? Well, it happens every year, the Sunday before Christmas in the little unincorporated town of Bethesda and this year my little guy was one of the Wise Men. Does anyone see the irony of a two year old Wise Man? Hilarious. However, beyond the laughs and the smiles they all received the true message of the season was displayed in old bathrobes and tinsel halos, "Jesus came to Earth to Save". It really was a beautiful pageant and I was really proud of my wise guy!
Stay tuned for more pics and Santa post!
Merry Merry Christmas, Love The Pilkintons
