Will has been quite the busy baby this October! He is making up for the fact that he was not here this time last year and is taking advantage of all things that make Fall so wonderful! He has visited to Pumpkin Patches. He went to a local Pumpkin Patch in Spring Hill with his Mommy and his Nonnie(see pics below) and he visited the Gentry Farm with his BeBe and his cousins! Needless, to say we have two pumpkins on our porch to commemorate the experiences! He loves touching the pumpkins and saying "ooh"!
Will also had his first college visit on October 14th!!! Every year my mom(Nonnie) takes my grandparents on a mini excursion, a little road trip to end the summer. My grandfather chose Sewanee,Tn as the destination and Will and I decided to tag along for the ride. We left early, after I taught Sunday School, and headed to Sewanee. We stopped to look at the University of the South and we ate lunch in the cafeteria. Now most of you probably just thought "yuck" school lunch, however, this was definitely yummy and a very fun part of the trip. We decided that if you pay $40,000 a year for an education, the cafeteria must be well funded!!! Will enjoyed it! On the way home, we stopped at a local Flea market and Nannie and Papa insisted on buying Will a rocking horse for his birthday. They just couldn't wait to let him ride it!!! All in all, it was a very fun trip and we enjoyed the company!!!
Will, Nonnie, and Mommy packed up the car on Friday and headed down to the big town of Centerville to Camp NaCoMe. Will attended his first ever Fall Retreat and had a blast. It was a relaxing weekend and the landscape was gorgeous!! Will had lots of fun and was the hit of the Retreat! We just might have to go again next year!
